On Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, golfers across the country helped raise $1.1 million as part of Patriot Golf Day to support families of those who have become disabled or lost their lives in the line of military duty.

- more than 3,200 golf facilities participated
- golfers donated a minimum of $1
- golf facilities came up with unique ideas to raise additional funds
The date for 2008 Patriot Golf Day will be August 29 through September 1.
